Good for cooking, interface sometimes confusing

This app gets 4 stars because of the plain text control interface, does exactly what I wanted… quick and easy countdown timers; I can just type it in and simple text parsing takes care of it. I was confused by the menubar icon at first- there is some serious lag on this old system. When I clicked and held for long enough, then dragged, I could tell it was a cool function, but the numbers made no sense, the way they both changed…
The left number is time until alarm in hours and minutes, right number is time for alarm in military (24 hour) format. Pretty cool for someone who has to set a lot of alarms.
