Perfect

Useful and smart!

Great timer, kind of annoying “battery” limitations

As a timer, works great. It does exactly what I want. I like being able to set a timer easily from my menu bar. I haven’t really figured out the whole “battery” part of this, but luckily I haven’t run into limitations that have impeded my use of the app at this point.

Love the multiple timers

SOMETIMES I NEED TO SET MORE THAN ONE TIMER AND I LOVE THAT IT ALLOWS ME TO DO THIS. GREAT FUNCTION!

Simple Act

Great little app and very simple to use!

Its oK..

Would prefer a series of timers and the alarm options are limited and no options of a softer alarm. Otherwise it does the job.

it’s a timer

just needed a timer. this was it. now it’s asking me to rate it so it doesn’t get 5 stars.

Good app, but miss a control to always show seconds

I like this app. The interface is clean and well designed, and its really easy to use. The only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is that I miss the option to always show the seconds, which is important for my use. For example, I’d like to time a 2 h event, but I’d need to see the seconds as well as hour/minute.

Good Tmer App Because…..

1. A single drag is all that is required to set and start a timer. Absolutely minimal actions required. That’s awesome. 2. the icon and countdown can be put in menu bar — takes up minimal space on the screen, and no sifting thru pages or windows to find it 3. i’m using the free version I LIKE this timer.

Simple...

What I wanted was a very very simple and visual countdown to alert me to the amount of time I’d spent on a particular project. This does it well. I’d prefer that the alarm… just keep ringing until I turn it off, but that may be a setting I’ve missed. So far so good. I like it. Does what it’s supposed to do.

Good for cooking, interface sometimes confusing

This app gets 4 stars because of the plain text control interface, does exactly what I wanted… quick and easy countdown timers; I can just type it in and simple text parsing takes care of it. I was confused by the menubar icon at first- there is some serious lag on this old system. When I clicked and held for long enough, then dragged, I could tell it was a cool function, but the numbers made no sense, the way they both changed… The left number is time until alarm in hours and minutes, right number is time for alarm in military (24 hour) format. Pretty cool for someone who has to set a lot of alarms.

Love the sliding feature to set the timer!!!!

Just got this app and so far it is just awesome. I love how fast it is to set using the sliding feature. Instead of Siri - this is my go-to-timer!

Exactly as promised

I like that there are three display options (the status bar, the tea kettle in the dock, and the main display); I enjoy that the display changes color with each reset; I appreciate that the display calculates what time it will be when the timer ends. I am very happy that I can shut off the audio alarm and the flashing is very obvious. Features I wish it also had: the ability to count up so I could see how long something takes; a preference to keep the display on top of all my other work so I can easily move through various windows and apps without having to go back and pull the timer to the front. I’m not sure why I’d ever need two timers going at once (cooking several dishes at the same time?) and I thought I would get to have more than one timer going at once when I saw “add a timer”, When I tried to start a 2nd timer, at first I thought the new one simply overrode the first one, but it actually DID have more than one timing!! Little dots at the bottom of the display allows you to toggle between them, and they are different colors so that helps. Then I discovered the tiling button and I can see all the simultaneous timers at once. I just hope the app will warn me when I am close to needing a battery, and not wait until I am all out! I’m guessing the battery icon will help there, but haven’t used the app enough to see that go down yet.

Very nice, but….

The software is a really nice, well integrated Mac application. Especially the timer sound but also the ability to drag timers from the menu bar and run multiple timers at the same time are well done. However: If one selects the “do not show dock icon” option the applications window keeps popping up in the background requiring me to click close. And it keeps nagging for a review. Which it did successfully in my case obviously….

Nice, but…

Very nicely designed app, especially the dragging from the menu bar is useful. However the app is bug-ridden under OS 10.11.4: — the modifier keys for dragging dont work, the auto-snap-in (preferences) doesnt work, — the small display on the left-hand side under the main count display is completely bogged (lots of zeroes and truncated), — sometimes even the main count display gets messed up, or is just missing, — sometimes the app pushes to the foreground when there is no timer set and the cursor is in the Add Timer field, — there is no way to get the cursor out of the Add Timer field => ⌘H doesnt work, — swiping between timers doesnt work. Nevertheless I purchased the full version. Thanks in advance for fixes!

Fast and easy way to set the timer from the menu bar. No need to open an other window. I love it.
